‘The Mindy Project’ spoilers: B.J. Novak and Mindy Kaling reunite on screen

Are you still hoping to see Ryan and Kelly from “The Office” get back together?  Well since that’s fairly impossible at the moment we have the next best thing, B.J. Novak and Mindy Kaling having a romantic story arc on “The Mindy Project”.

Novak has been booked to appear on the new Fox series for a two episode arc according to Vulture.com.  The “Office” veteran will play Jamie, a Latin professor who will strike up a romance with Mindy after the two find that they share a love of language.

Novak, who is also a consulting producer on “The Mindy Project”, will being appearing on the series early next year along side Susan Sarandon’s daughter, Eva Amurri. Eva will be playing Jamie’s friend named Lucy.

On next week’s episode  Mindy will introduce her boyfriend Josh to her colleagues at a Christmas party she will be hosting at her apartment, but when a big secret that Josh has been keeping comes to the forefront, no one will be more surprised then Mindy.
