‘The X Factor’ USA: Demi Lovato stands up for CeCe Frey
There have been times in which “The X Factor” USA has not been kind this season to either Demi Lovato or CeCe Frey. Take, for example, last week, when CeCe’s “Lady Marmalade” was heavily criticized by the judges and Simon Cowell treated the “Give Your Heart a Break” singer like she had no business being on the panel (which she clearly does). We actually have a longer rant about why Simon may actually be the biggest problem with the show at the moment, but we’ll save that for a little bit later on this season.
Thankfully, the nice think about these two is that they seem to have each others’ back, as both of them have the deck stacked against them at this point in the competition. We wrote yesterday about some of the kind things that CeCe is saying about Demi, and the judge has also returned the favor by sharing this rather kind defense of her singer on Twitter:
“Regardless of what the other judges may say, CeCe is still in this competition for a REASON. This girl is VERY RELEVANT!!! She IS a POP STAR… When you are a CeCe fan, you are VERY dedicated. JUST like my Lovatics..

If Demi’s marketing works, CeCe might be safe this week. She might even be able to make the final (that’s a stretch, but it’s not impossible). She’s got two songs that really suit her for tomorrow, both show off how relevant she is, and she just seems to be ‘back’. Of course, the show could decide to screw her over with some horrible trick, or they could decide to boost her odds in some way (harsh judges’ comments have worked well twice so far).

Simon had it right , CECE should have packed her bags , her departure is long overdue ….. she is phony , self centered, manupulative and does not have a caring bone in her body. You have all witnessed the fake tears , the snark facial expressions ,she is all show . There is nothing sincere about CeCe at all . Paige was way better and certainly more deserving. I would love to find the robo caller she has paid to vote for her ……. If she does not leave this week I will no longer watch the Xfactor…..
