We have said this time and time again over the past several days, but it is still worth repeating: “Sons of Anarchy” season 5 is not going to wrap up with any storylines tied together in a neat little bow. Expect things to be messy, violent, stunning, and also in some ways tragic. For the characters who do survive the episode, do not expect them to be in anywhere even close to the same place that they were at the start of it. Jax, for example, has become much more like Clay than he would ever want to admit.
According to a new report from E! News, here are a few other assorted details of just what will be coming up … including an event that will cause SAMCRO as we know it to feel aftershocks in some rather unexpected ways. We are set to see in particular one scene that is going to almost make our stomach turn, but it may also be the most important scene of the entire finale. Finally, there will also be the sort of massive cliffhanger that you would expect to close things off.
Following this episode, we’re sure that there will be all sorts of assorted interviews out there featuring various people just trying to describe what it was that unfolded during the season; but how much will we really learn from them? “Sons of Anarchy” season 6 is likely just in the early planning stages at this point, and really will not rev up until the midway point of next year. The fate of many actors in the balance, though we wager the two who are currently in the crosshairs the most are Harold Perrineau (Damon Pope) and Jimmy Smits (Nero), mostly because these are the sort of story arcs that are really only around for a full season.
