‘Private Practice’ season 6 spoilers: Is Sheldon about to find love?
Even though there was no new “Private Practice” season 6 episode on Tuesday night, we now have a little something to make up for it: some news that could very much impact the future of one of the show’s beloved characters.
According to a new report from TV Guide, former “Numb3rs” actress Diane Farr has booked a multi-episode story arc on the Shonda Rhimes’ series final season, where she will be playing a relatively-mysterious character by the name of Miranda. Here is what we know for sure about her so far: her first appearance will come in the upcoming Sheldon-centered episode airing on December 11, and she has also been confirmed to be appearing in the series finale. That does this mean? Basically, it is fair to assume that she is going to be playing some sort of role in the man’s life; and considering that the man has not exactly had much luck with the ladies over the years, the hope out there is that he could very well be a new love interest for him.
While so many people have been keen to make assumptions that Rhimes, who has developed a bit of a reputation as a death-dealer over the past year courtesy of this show and “Grey’s Anatomy,” there is one thing that people have been forgetting: we have never actually seen her create a final episode to any of her shows. At the end of the day, she kills characters because she feels it necessarily due to creative or issues away from the show. It’s not something she enjoys, so with that we have to assume that she would like to give some people as close to a happy ending as possible.
