‘The Mindy Project’ review: Mindy helps Sophia make some tough choices

On Tonight’s episode of “The Mindy Project” Danny receives an anonymous complaint about inappropriate behavior that is happening at work.  He brings Morgan into his office and confronts him about leering at Shauna and Morgan apologies to her, but Shauna tells him that she didn’t write the letter and Danny is back to square one on who wrote the complaint. He later finds out that it was his assistant, Betsy, that wrote the complaint about Morgan and Shauna, saying that she wants men to look at her the way that they look at Shauna. Danny tries to pump her up by saying a lot of nice things and she walks away feeling confident that he thinks she’s sexy.

Mindy’s teen neighbor, Sophia comes to her for birth control because she’s met a boy named Henry that she wants to be with. Mindy says she won’t give out the birth control until she meets this Henry character and decides if he’s worthy of Sophia.  Mindy goes to Sophia’s school to meet Henry and asks him a bunch of really personal questions about his personal relationship with Sophia and future. Mindy doesn’t like his answers and when Henry gets so uncomfortable that he leaves the room, Mindy decides that Henry is not the one for Sophia and she will not give her birth control.

Sophia wants to meet Mindy’s boyfriend, Josh, and ask him a bunch of tough questions and Mindy says she’d be fine with that. He answers all of the questions fairly well, until Sophia asks him if he wants to be with her for ever and he says that he doesn’t want to get married or be with someone forever.  Later Mindy meets up with Sophia at volleyball practice and tells her that she will give her birth control, but Sophia tells her that her and Henry have decided to wait.

Josh meets up with Mindy at her apartment that night and she tells him that there has to at least be a possibility that they could be forever, and he says that he could see where it goes.
