‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 5 finale spoilers: Ron Perlman on loose ends

Once “Sons of Anarchy” season 5 wraps up, we are going to be two years away from seeing the epic conclusion to Kurt Sutter’s Shakespearean biker drama, at least so long as the plan to end after season 7 stays intact. However, there is still a question to ask to go along with this: is season 6 going to start fresh, or are we looking more at a situation where everything from this year directly carries over?

Based on what Ron Perlman is telling TVLine in a new interview, it feels as though the majority of the plots from 2012 will be the same plots in 2013.  He said:

“Thirty percent of what we’ve dealt with all season is probably resolved … That’s just a guesstimate, but way more is [left] unresolved than it is resolved.”

It’s also hard to really even tabulate just how many stories there are going on a the moment, though some of the more prominent ones have such as  Juice’s betrayal, Jax and Clay squaring off again, the trouble with Eli, Nero’s relationship with Gemma, Clay’s relationship with Jenna, and of course the master of causing all sorts of problems in Damon Pope. The question now is not necessarily if everyone will survive (mostly because that seems doubtful), but who will be left standing once the dust clears.

The “Sons of Anarchy” season 5 finale is now only a week away, and we will have more on it in the days following Tuesday night’s new episode “Darthy.”
