‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 3 spoilers: What happened with Byron and Alison?

There are a number of mysteries still waiting to unfold through the rest of “Pretty Little Liars” season 3, but one at the moment stands out from the mold: why in the world was Aria’s dad Byron seen talking to Alison the night of her death? This was something that was long kept a secret from the likes of our four leading ladies, but in the minutes leading up to his death, it was ultimately Officer Garrett who revealed the truth about something that happened to fill a key gap in the timeline from that night.

You know that this is an issue that has to be addressed moving forward with the second half of the season starting up on January 7, and Lucy Hale promises such as a part of her brand-new interview with Hollywood Life … even if she does not really offer much just yet when it comes to tangible answers:

“In the remainder of the season, that’s one of the bigger issues that we deal with … Aria finds out, and the rest of the girls find out, but we don’t know if there’s truth to it. It puts a huge strain on Aria and Byron, but you do come to find out what actually happened.”

There are still a myriad of other problems that the Liars are also going to have to tackle here, whether it be figuring out that Toby is on the “A Team” or struggling to do the right thing when it comes to Mona being back in school following her stay at Radley.
