‘Dexter’ season 7, episode 8 preview: Is Yvonne Strahovski’s Hannah in trouble?
Even though the show is entitled “Dexter,” it’s actually pretty ironic that both of the sneak peeks that have been released at the moment for Sunday night’s new episode are focused almost entirely around Deb. First, we saw her practically begging her brother to kill Hannah McKay; and now, we have a confrontation between Jennifer Carpenter and Yvonne Strahovski’s two characters that is setting up one of the most epic battles the show has given us yet.
The irony here though is that even though Deb is visiting Hannah’s flower shop in the latest sneak peek below, it is not entirely clear just what her motivations are for doing so. She doesn’t really have any new evidence to give about the Hannah case; and instead, it really feels more like she is merely present here in yet another attempt to try and get inside of her head.
The two exchange a few words together, and Hannah continued to play dumb about having anything to do with the death of Sal Price, just as she feigned innocence when it came to both her ex-husband (who she had embalmed) along with the woman that owned the flower shop. On that note, do you think we will ever seen the flower shop owner’s body exhumed at some point? Hannah would not have been the next of kin, so she couldn’t have controlled whether or not she wanted the body was embalmed.
No matter what happens between Deb and Hannah, the challenge for the lieutenant is simple: trying to figure out how to convince Dexter to put her on his table, especially when she finds out that there are some feelings there.
