‘Downton Abbey’ season 3: Ed Speleers, Rob-James Collier have a laugh

For those of us who do not get many opportunities to actually see the cast of “Downton Abbey” in America save for the show itself (which is going to start airing season 3 beginning in January), what we have to present now is actually quite a treat: a new video featuring many of the show’s prominent cast members speaking out about their experiences creating the hit ITV show.

In the video below, you can see Ed Speleers (Jimmy), Rob James-Collier (Thomas), and Sophie McShera (Daisy) all speak out with late-night host Alan Carr about some of the notable moments from filming the series, including the trouble that they get into occasionally for filming some scenes with their phone and other various forms of technology. James-Collier also briefly references that alcohol is not allowed on the show’s set, which has been a story that has been blown way out of proportion by the British press lately. (What show would want booze on the set? People have to work!)

For some of the more sensitive viewers out there, be warned that there is some lewd humor pretty much throughout the video, but most of it is admittedly pretty funny and the cast is also game to make fun of themselves … and Carr for forgetting a few details about “Downton Abbey” season 3 during the interview. Is this a forgivable offense? We’re on the fence, since there is so much that typically happens in an hour of this show.

Hopefully, we will have some more video footage of the cast to share while we all sit around and wait patiently for the series to return back to ITV later this year for the Christmas special
