NBC’s ‘Community’ season 4 spoilers: Halloween and over spooky things

Isn’t it a little bit strange to be talking about Halloween after the holiday happens? Well, you can pretty much blame NBC for that over their decision in the eleventh hour to push back the “Community” season 4 premiere date until February 7. Producers did not have the time to change plans for any of their episodes (especially those that have already been shot), and with that in mind, expect to see yet another installment themed all around October 31.

According to a report from TVLine, there is some other interesting casting news coming out that may also come across as a little bit creepy for some. Producers are currently casting a character to play a friend for Jim Rash’s Dean Pelton, and there is an interesting twist to go along with it: they are going to more or less be doppelgangers. The only thing that could be more annoying for Jeff Winger than one Dean Pelton are two Dean Peltons, and we already cannot wait to see if he comes into contact with both of them.

Just in case you have been living under a rock (or inside of a blanket fort) over the past few weeks, here’s some of what you have been missing: the season will happen with an episode inspired in part by “The Hunger Games,” and it will continue from there with a visit to an “Inspector Spacetime” convention, a visit from Jeff’s father (played by James Brolin), and also some more relationship humor with Britta and Troy.

Who do you want to say playing the Dean’s doppelganger? Be sure to share some more of your thoughts with a comment below!
