‘The X Factor’ USA: Parting words from Willie Jones, David Correy, Diamond White

Thursday night’s “The X Factor” USA was the equivalent of an emotional bomb that just kept exploding, and while you can argue that the majority of the judges made the wrong decision as to who to eliminate, the decisions were still made nonetheless. David Correy, Willie Jones, Diamond White, and Sister C are all no longer part of the competition, and they were all sent home without an opportunity to even test their popularity in front of the voting public.

Of course, most of these contestants opted to speak about their experience on the show after the fact, and they did share some pretty interesting insights that even though they may be crushed right now, they have no intention of giving up in the near future.

Willie Jones – “Thank y’all for the love. I can only go up from here!!”

David Correy – “Been a fighter my whole life. I’m still standing tall & smiling. I love being doubted. It’s time to go hard. #TeamDavidCorrey I love u”

Diamond White – “hey! just wanted to say im totally ok! i mean come on! Top 16!!! thats amazing! trust me…… this is only the start of a new journey. Next up madison square garden.”

Ironically, the only act to keep quiet on social media since their elimination is Sister C, and we have a feeling that they may not be completely thrilled about everything that happened on the show as it did. First, they were portrayed as being people who were unlikable who no one could relate to; and then, they seemed to suggest after their elimination that they saw it coming given “The X Factor’s” tendency to stay away from country music, which typically strange given the enormous presence of country on both “The Voice” and “American Idol.”
