The Blacklist season 7 episode 10 spoilers: Liz, Katarina, & what’s next

The Blacklist season 7 episode 10 is going to be airing on NBC Friday night, and it goes without saying this one is big. It’s the fall finale, the stakes are higher than ever, and at the end of it all, you’re going to be getting a little bit more information about Katarina Rostova, Liz Keen, Raymond Reddington, and also Ilya Koslov. These four characters are the focal point of the series right now, and there’s a lot of interesting stuff that could unfold.

Let’s kick things off, though, with this oh-so-simple reminder — at the start of the episode, Liz’s life is going to be in jeopardy. She is facing off against Katarina, who has identified herself in earnest for the first time. There are going to be some dramatic consequences that go along with this, and it could lead to Katarina doing whatever she can in order to bargain with Liz.

Want to get a little bit more information? Then take a look at what executive producer Jon Bokenkamp has to say on the subject to TVLine:

“Liz is coming into this episode in a very loaded way. This woman has betrayed her, she’s put Agnes in jeopardy, she’s lied to her … But at the same time, Katarina has all kinds of answers and information which she could barter with. It would behoove Liz to at least hear her out, because Katarina is sitting on some really key information.”

The biggest thing we are prepared for entering this episode is simply this: Katarina knows that Reddington isn’t Ilya Koslov, which is what Liz was led to believe because of Dom’s story last season in “Rassvet.” If Katarina can leverage this information, she could at least spin Liz around a little bit so there situation is a little less tense. We don’t want to see her turn on Reddington, though — sure, he hasn’t been forthcoming about his true identity, but he also hasn’t done anything to deliberately hurt her. There is something larger going on here, but we do think he is trying to protect Liz in his own way.
