Want to know the Young Sheldon season 3 episode 11 return date over at CBS, or more information on what’s next? Don’t worry — we’ve got some additional insight within this piece!
Tonight’s episode is the final one for 2019 — not that this should be a big surprise for a number of people out there. The subject matter tonight made it perfect for the final installment if the year; beyond that, CBS doesn’t want to run new episodes of anything too close to Christmas. They want to keep the ratings solid as long as they can. We should note here especially that Young Sheldon isn’t exactly the same ratings force that it was a year ago, when it was airing following new episodes of The Big Bang Theory. The shoe is currently averaging a 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which is down more than 30% in the measure versus season 2. It’s still one of the more-popular sitcoms out there, but it’s a reminder that much of the show’s earlier success was based mostly on the lead-in.
Here’s the good news that we have within this piece — we already know the return date! The CBS series is going to be returning with new episodes on Thursday, January 9. Want a few more details on what’s ahead? CarterMatt has the full Young Sheldon season 3 episode 11 synopsis with some more news all about what’s coming:
“A Live Chicken, a Fried Chicken and Holy Matrimony” – George Sr. and Meemaw struggle to manage the Cooper household while Mary plans Pastor Jeff’s (Matt Hobby) wedding, on YOUNG SHELDON, Thursday, Jan. 9 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
The comedy that’ll be present here seems to be based mostly on a slight change in family structure. We haven’t quite seen this particular dynamic before, and we imagine that there should be something quite fun that goes along with that. You’ll see some fun interactions, a possible wedding, and Sheldon continuously trying to find his way to fit in. That’s been a part of the series in some way from the very beginning.
