After a couple of weeks off of the air, NCIS is returning to CBS with a new episode on Tuesday! This is going to be a holiday-themed episode, and one that also should contain relentless action, drama, and a whole lot of other good stuff. How could it not, given that this is also an episode featuring the return of Cote de Pablo?

For the time being, we don’t have any new footage of Ziva beyond what’s already out there — yet, we can give you two new clips below from Wilmer Valderrama’s appearance earlier today on Live! with Kelly and Ryan. In this interview, the actor behind Nick Torres shares a few lighthearted anecdotes from some of his past with Ryan, and also goes a little bit into what he likes about playing Torres and then also the process of crafting this character. He wanted him to both look and feel different than anyone else on the team, and also be different from any other character that came about beforehand. As you would expect, there are a few different components that go into it. You want to have the right energy, the best personality, and also be a little bit of a foil.
At this point, it feels pretty clear that Torres has found his place within the squad, just as it’s clear that Wilmer has found some rather-spectacular footing with the cast and crew. It’s a well-oiled machine over there, and we know that moving forward, there will continue to be all sorts of fun stuff shown off. Think in terms of more surprise twists and turns, plus also more Ziva on the January 7 episode. This is going to be a great way in order to kick off the new year — beyond that, though, there’s a lot of mystery in general.
What do you want to see from Nick Torres on NCIS moving forward?
