Is The Resident new tonight on Fox? Within this article, we’re going to answer that — but then also look forward more towards the show’s future and whatever is coming up next.
Let’s go ahead now and get some of that bad news out of the way — there is no installment tonight. Fox is shifting their schedule around to accommodate The Masked Singer being off the air on a couple of occasions, and giving you an installment of the singing show instead. Note, though, that this hiatus is a brief one and you are going to have a chance in order to see the series back next week. The installment coming up is entitled “Whistleblower,” and it’s a big one given that we’re talking here about the fall finale! This is a chance to see heightened stakes, and then also a showdown like no other between Barrett Cain and Bell. Is this when Bell is going to get one over on Red Rock? The promo makes it seem like it’s going to be a challenge, given that Barrett seems to have the hospital conglomerate eating out of the palm of his hand.
If you missed the synopsis with some more scoop on what’s coming, just be sure to check that out below:
On Devon’s last day as an intern, he and Conrad are faced with a moral dilemma over a suicidal patient who is in need of a liver transplant. When Bell discovers that Cain is keeping braindead patients alive in order to boost his survival rates and add to Red Rock’s profits, he decides to take matters into his own hands. Meanwhile, Adaku goes into early labor, causing a strain on her heart and Mina is left in doubt over how to best handle her care in the all-new “Whistleblower” fall finale episode of THE RESIDENT airing Tuesday, December 17th on FOX.
This episode is going to be the last one until at least January, so expect some fireworks, surprises, and maybe a cliffhanger that has you emotional. With the nature of this show, can you expect anything less?
