Curb Your Enthusiasm season 10 teaser: Larry David is waiting…

Curb Your EnthusiasmCurb Your Enthusiasm season 10 is slated to arrive on HBO early next year, and it’s definitely been a long wait! Yet, Larry David doesn’t seem to care just how long you’ve been wanting his show to come back. The teaser below is, in some ways, almost mocking that very thing.

In this video, you can see David decide to take advantage of the waiting room at a doctor’s office for its most literal purpose — possible. He doesn’t have an appointment; instead, he just needs to wait for something. He doesn’t say what it is, and it’s probably only a matter of time before someone tosses him out.

If there’s one thing that we have learned about Curb Your Enthusiasm over time, it’s this: Larry has a tendency to make people in the service industry’s lives as miserable as possible. It doesn’t matter if they are waiters, attendants, or in this case receptionists — nobody is really safe. The problem with season 9 was that, perhaps, Larry was a little too mean to some of the people he interacted with. Yet, at the same time maybe that’s because our perception of Larry’s behavior has changed. He may very well be the same person. We’re not actually sure if he’s ever going to change and that may not be the point of this show anyway.

In the end, there’s no point in having some sort of astronomical expectations to a show like Curb Your Enthusiasm. Instead, let’s just do our best to enjoy the show for what it is — a chance to laugh a little bit at some ridiculous antics featuring a number of familiar faces. We’re sure that there are some surprise guest-stars planned, but you don’t see any of them present here (unfortunately).
