Crisis on Infinite Earths episode 3 spoilers: Black Lightning arrives!

Crisis On Infinite Earths

Crisis on Infinite Earths episode 3 is set to air on The CW come tomorrow night, and there’s more crossover goodness to look forward to. Hopefully, that’s enough to make up for some of the drama and sadness that we’ve seen so far. We’ve seen countless lives lost, but what we’re learning is that losing someone at one point doesn’t mean that you necessarily lose them forever. Consider this another bit of evidence as to just how crazy and complicated the world of Crisis is at this point.

The big selling point for episode 3 (which is technically an installment of The Flash) is the simple fact that this is going to give us a chance in order to see Black Lightning turn up for the first time in the Arrowverse. For a long time, there was a resistence to doing this, even if we heard a few references to the other characters here and there. This just felt like too good of a possibility for everyone to pass up — even if there aren’t many other opportunities to use him with other heroes in the future, allow Jefferson to have his moment now!

For some more news, check out the full Crisis on Infinite Earths episode 3 synopsis below:

BLACK LIGHTNING JOINS THE ARROWVERSE IN THE THIRD CHAPTER OF THE CROSSOVER – Pariah (Tom Cavanagh) enlists Black Lightning (guest star Cress Williams) to help stop the Anti-Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett) after Flash-90 (guest star John Wesley Shipp) shares what he learned from his battle in ‘Elseworlds.’ With the help of Black Lightning, Barry (Grant Gustin), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) come up with a plan that could save them all. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) has a heart-to-heart with Ryan Choi (guest star Osric Chau), while Oliver (guest star Stephen Amell) and Diggle (guest star David Ramsey) return to an old familiar stomping ground. David McWhirter directed the episode with story by Eric Wallace and teleplay by Lauren Certo & Sterling Gates (#609). Original airdate 12/10/2019.

In the end, know this — episode 3 will be the midseason finale-of-sorts for the crossover. Once you get through this, you’ll have to wait until January for the Arrow and the Legends of Tomorrow parts to come on the air. They will conclude the crossover, which then ushers in a whole new era of entertainment on all of these shows.
