Fuller House season 5 episode 9: DJ and Steve’s big moment!
Yet, it does feel at the moment that this is where the story is heading, as crazy as that may be to think about. In the final episode of season 5A, we saw an elaborate stunt by Fernando turn into cover so that Steve could ask DJ to marry him. To the shock of no one, she said yes and now we have another wedding coming soon! Or, we should just say that we’re going to be seeing all three of these ceremonies happen all at once. The plan here seems to be to wage some sort of triple-wedding, which is going to come with its own fair share of challenges. It’s hard enough, for starters, to plan one wedding — is it possible to really recognize what it’s like in order to plan three?
Speaking in a new interview with TVLine, series star Candace Cameron Bure had the following to say about where the show and the story is going to go from here:
“As I’m sure you can imagine, it’s going to be nuts … You have three very different women trying to coordinate one giant event together. They all see the world a little bit differently, so chaos will ensue.”
Of course, most of this chaos will be of the humorous variety, and the final episode will still have some predictable flourishes to it. The truth here is that Fuller House is a show that clearly knows precisely what it is. It’s well aware of the fact that it’s about allowing its characters to find happy endings. It started with DJ, Kimmy, and Stephanie experiencing some low points and them working to find more happiness. Now, we’re getting a chance to see all of them building towards something that could set the stage for their happily-ever-after. Doesn’t it seem like we are on the road to that?
