The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 4: Is it renewed, canceled at Amazon?
Leading into this weekend’s season 3 launch, why not go ahead and discuss a potential The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 4? There’s still a lot to look forward to with this series, and we say that knowing already that there are hopes for the show to do more.
From an Amazon perspective, we have a feeling that they are going to want more of the series. Why wouldn’t they? We’re talking here about a show that has garnered a great deal of awards respect and attention, and that’s probably going to escalate moving into awards season this time. Reviews to date have been glowing for season 3!
Because of all of this, we would figure that this is a situation of when there will be another season of the series rather than if. Amazon is gonna make an announcement, and it could come over the next few weeks. If this show somehow gets canceled, we have a feeling that it will be one of the most stunning cancellations in recent TV history. The more important question here could simply be this — when will the fourth season end up premiering?
Based on the timing of season 3’s launch, we have a feeling that a possible season 4 would not air until late 2020 or early 2021. One part of the decision-making here will have to do with the timing of the renewal. Another part of it, meanwhile, will have to do with how fast the scripts are together and when filming officially begins. With a show of this quality, we have a feeling that quality is going to matter more than anything else. You don’t want to run the risk of rushing a new season out there and delivering a less-than-stellar product.
