Crisis on Infinite Earths kept secrets from even its cast

Crisis On Infinite Earths

Just in case you didn’t know, the producers of the Arrowverse are holding some secrets very tight for Crisis on Infinite EarthsHow secret? Think along these lines — not even the actors know what it is every scene.

In a new post on Twitter, Jon Cryer confirmed that there are scenes that were shot for the upcoming event that even he wasn’t privy to in advance. What does that mean? Well, that there could be a few huge surprises in the making that only a select few know about.

We have a feeling, too, that for some of these, even the most eagle-eyed members of the paparazzi in Vancouver are not aware of them. Producers know that there are people out there intent on getting every single spoiler that they can in advance of the event airing, so we’re sure that there were some precautions that were taken in order to make sure that no information gets out on them.

Just based on what we know at the moment, this is going to be one of the biggest events of its kind in TV history. Cryer is joining a lineup of guest stars that includes Elizabeth Tulloch, Tyler Hoechlin, Kevin Conroy, John Wesley Shipp, and many others sprinkled in. The Big Bad is of course the Anti-Monitor, who is played by LaMonica Garrett … who just so happens to also be playing The Monitor. This is going to be a crossover with so many stakes that it could force everyone together … and the world is probably not going to ever be the same on the other side.

Crisis on Infinite Earths is going to officially begin Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. Eastern — from there, it will transfer over to Monday and Tuesday night before returning to the air in January. There are five parts in total, and that hiatus right in the middle of it is probably going to prove to be super-painful.
