Is Dynasty new tonight on The CW? Midseason finale teases
Well, here’s the bad news. There is no new episode of the show tonight, not that we’re altogether surprised by that. This is Black Friday! It’s not a night that is commong for networks to program shows on, so we can’t be altogether surprised by The CW’s decision here, either. (Here’s your reminder that Charmed also is not on the air tonight, meaning that you’re getting a hiatus across the board.)
Now, here’s the good/bad news after the fact. There is going to be a new episode next week! Isn’t that worth rejoicing? Well, it is until you also remember that this episode is the midseason finale and with that, the last chance you’re going to have to see the show on the air in 2019. Don’t worry — it will be back in 2020 with a lot more story to tell. That’s pretty important given the nature of what is coming up next: The trial of Black Carrington. The promo below gives you a small tease of it, but just like all promos for this show, the tease isn’t anywhere near substantial enough. Instead, what you have here is Fallon throwing a gavel! This is one of the most signature Dynasty events ever, and something just about all of us could’ve seen coming a mile away. It’s just so ingrained in this show, even if we have a feeling that Fallon is going to be forced to pay for this after the fact.

THE CIRCUS IS IN TOWN – In the mid-season finale, Blake’s (Grant Show) trial begins, and every Carrington and family associate gets pulled into the fray. Elizabeth Gillies, Daniella Alonso, Elaine Hendrix, Sam Underwood, Michael Michele, Adam Huber, Rafael De La Fuente, Alan Dale, Robert Christopher Riley, Sam Adegoke, and Maddison Brown also star. Melanie Mayron directed the episode written by Francisca X. Hu (#308). Original airdate 12/6/2019.
