Is Chicago Med new tonight on NBC? Within this article, we come bearing some more news on that. Not only this, but also some of where the story goes from here.
We don’t want to beat around the bush here, so let’s go ahead and get some of the bad news out of the way now. There is no new episode of Chicago Med on the air tonight, and nor will there be one the following week, either. Instead, you’ll be stuck waiting until we get around to January 8 to see a lot of interesting drama unfold.

What’s one of the more interesting narratives right now? To us, it’s the state of Will and Natalie. Manstead has long been a signature pairing on the show for a long time, but could it be over now? That’s at least something worth entertaining at the moment. At the end of the fall finale, Will made it clear that he’s happy that Natalie is no longer in his life. The timing of that is very much unfortunate for Natalie, given that she’s only just realized the truth about Will and some of the feelings that she’s got for him. Right when she realizes exactly what she was doing at the end of season 4, it seems like it’s all slipping away … but is it? This is one of many different things that will be intriguing to figure out.
Beyond just this, of course, there is some substantial relationship drama elsewhere. Just look at the moment towards what is happening with Ethan and April. After April kissed Dr. Marcel, we imagine this will weigh on her. She’s felt pressured by Ethan and how much is going on with them, and just about everything is going to come to a head and soon. These things don’t stay secret for long, and we don’t even think that she wants it to stay secret. That’s not a big part of who this character is.
