Better Call Saul season 5 poster: All about the business card

Better Call Saul season 5

Today, AMC officially unleased the latest Better Call Saul season 5 poster … and this one is all about the simplicity. Also, it’s got a famous business card at the center of it.

If you look HERE, you can see a poster that features handcuffs, but then also a famous Saul Goodman business card at the same time. The card is very much reminiscent of the Saul we got to know in Breaking Bad, and we’re very-much excited to see how this version of the character plays out.

Is there going to be some sort of time jump moving into the new season? At the moment, we’re rather inclined to think so for a multitude of different reasons. Take, for starters, the presence of the business card alone — while this could be misleading, we also wonder if this is a not-so-subtle nod at a time jump. Saul wouldn’t be able to get his entire new operation off the ground overnight and there’s probably a lot of different stuff that the show can just blow past without too much attention. Getting the stationary together is a part of it.

Given that we already know what Saul is like thanks to watching him on Breaking Bad, our curiosity is elsewhere. Take, for example, how Kim Wexler is going to react to seeing him take this position on. Will she be able to handle this new version of Jimmy. While she’s tried to be there for him in some rather-tough times, we may be looking at a situation here where she’s at a little bit more of a breaking point. This could prove to be too much, even for someone like her who has seen a lot of highs and lows already.

The new season of Better Call Saul is going to premiere on AMC come Sunday, February 23, where it will air following a new episode of The Walking Dead. After that, it will jump over to its normal timeslot on February 24.
