Outlander season 5 tease: Another Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe photo
In a post on Twitter, you can see the two actors together as Jamie and Claire for what has to be one of the most romantic season 5 photos to date. We know that one of the biggest demands that viewers have for season 5 is more romance, and this is some evidence that you’ll going to get a chance to see at least some through the upcoming episodes.
For these two characters, we do like to think that their romantic connection is really their center. It drives them, it allows them to focus, and it serves as a constant sense of hope. In the end, it gives them perhaps something more to fight for. They are strong separately and we’ve seen that; yet, they are almost certainly stronger together. They had to be to make it across the ocean to North Carolina in the first place.
As for what the story is going to be throughout season 5 for these two, we imagine that their romantic moments are going to come amidst a number of different crises. Take, for example, the mounting pressure on Jamie by the British, the impending Revolutionary War, and of course new arrivals at Fraser’s Ridge. Some of them will be of the pleasant variety. As for some of the others? Not so much.
So long as Jamie and Claire continue to make time for each other amidst the madness, we have a feeling that they will be okay. Outlander season 5 premieres on February 16, so let’s going ahead and hope that this photo is just a small continuation of the show’s epic love story.
