The Walking Dead season 10 episode 9 return date confirmed
We don’t think that this return date should come as all that much of a surprise, either — the zombie drama is back on Sunday, February 23 with new episodes. This is around when we would’ve thought it would come back, at least if you were to look at some past seasons as evidence.
There’s also another reason why this particular return date makes sense — it just so happens to be when Better Call Saul is kicking off season 5. Over the past few years, we’ve seen enough evidence in order to know that premieres/midseason premieres are when The Walking Dead draws some of its best ratings. AMC wants some of those ratings to bleed over into Better Call Saul, as they should.

As for what’s coming up when The Walking Dead returns with new episodes, we imagine that one of the cornerstones is going to be getting a chance in order to see Michonne’s journey with Virgil — and then also how she eventually leaves. That information has been out there for a while about Danai Gurira’s future, but the mechanics of her exit are currently still unclear.
Of course, there’s also then the discovery of Alpha’s enormous zombie horde. This is something that should prove to be quite the development moving forward, especially depending on what someone like Carol chooses to do about them. This could be a way to get a tremendous leg up on Alpha — or, if nothing else, to make a move that she may not actually see coming at the end of it all. This isn’t just a physical battle, after all; this is a mental one where strategy and tactics are key.
