Outlander season 5 photo: See Jamie, Claire, Roger, & Bree together!
Yet, we are happy to at least share something new today — a new photo featuring some of the clan together! In a new post on Twitter (see HERE), you can have a chance to see Claire (Caitriona Balfe), Jamie (Sam Heughan), Roger (Richard Rankin), and Bree (Sophie Skelton) all getting quite cozy together at Fraser’s Ridge. This is the sort of thing that we like to think about come Thanksgiving, where family comes together to eat, drink, and be merry.
In general, we certainly expect a whole lot more of the group together moving into the fifth season. Roger has reunited with Bree, the two are parents to baby Jemmy, and now, they’re all going to spend some time figuring out what the future holds. Roger and Bree could spend some time in season 5 debating as to whether or not to stay in the past with their baby — provided, of course, that Jemmy can even travel. (We would imagine that for these characters, understanding the rules could prove tough.) Meanwhile, Jamie and Claire will continue to work to broaden out their estate, building the Big House and then also welcoming more people to the community. All of this is happening still amidst the shadow of the Revolutionary War, which is starting to take an early form. We’re not at its official arrival just yet, but Jamie has some key decisions to make in regards to Murtagh, Governor Tryon, and how he wants to keep his family safe.
Outlander arrives on Starz come February 16, so here’s to hoping we get to see a lot of these characters together! (In particular, we’d like to see more of Roger and Jamie together — in scenes that don’t include them fighting, of course.)
