The Walking Dead season 10 episode 9 return date on AMC
If you’ve been watching the AMC series for a long time, then you’re probably well aware of the fact that there are more episodes coming up — eight episodes in total, which brings the overall order to 16. Typically, new episodes for The Walking Dead premiere in February, and we more than expect that to be the case here. Obviously, the show doesn’t want to air opposite the Super Bowl on February 2, but we wouldn’t be shocked if it comes back on February 9. Know that this isn’t the official return date, though, and we think there’s a good chance that it will be confirmed tonight, either during the winter finale or during Talking Dead. The series will likely air until April, and then at that point, we’ll be left sitting around and wondering where the show will go entering season 11. One thing that is exciting right now? Knowing that there’s going to be a more permanent role for one Lauren Cohan as Maggie, who is returning to the franchise.
As for some of what we’re expecting to see on The Walking Dead season 10 when the show returns in earnest, we imagine that there will be a lot more story to tell with the Whisperers. Because Alpha has been a fantastic villain, and because Angela Kang has worked to successfully reinvent the show, we don’t think that they will be in any hurry to rush things along. Rather, let’s just hope that The Walking Dead does right by its story and its world.
Meanwhile, we know that the second part of season 10 could feature the end of Danai Gurira as a major part of the show. That’s not necessarily something that we want to see, but at the same time, it’s definitely something that we have to prepare ourselves for.
One more thing — is there a good chance that we’ll get a tease or two on some of the Rick Grimes movies?
