Riverdale season 4 episode 8 return date: Gina Torres guest stars!

RiverdaleWithin this article, we have news on the Riverdale season 4 episode 8 return date — but also a rather-awesome guest star to go along with it.

For all of those out there wondering, you are not going to be getting a new installment of the CW series next week, and understandably so when you consider the circumstances. After all, it’s going to be the day before Thanksgiving, otherwise known as one of the last times that you would ever want to broadcast a new episode of anything. You’re just setting yourself up for disaster at that point more often than not.

As for that guest star, you’re going to be seeing none other than Suits and Pearson alum Gina Torres stop by in the role of guidance counselor Mrs. Burble. She’s going to spending a lot of time with a number of different students, and that’s probably why the producers wanted an actress of Gina’s caliber for this role. It gives her an opportunity to flex her muscles with a lot of different people — in the end, we’re going to enjoy it. (Of course, we would’ve also enjoyed there being a Pearson season 2 … not that we tend to get every little thing that we want.)

Want a few more details on what’s ahead? Below, CarterMatt has the full Riverdale season 4 episode 8 synopsis with some other news as to what’s coming up next:

GINA TORRES GUEST STARS AS RIVERDALE HIGH’S GUIDANCE COUNSELOR – As residents across Riverdale begin receiving more mysterious videotapes on their doorsteps, the seniors of Riverdale High eagerly await their college decision letters. Concerned that the stress may be getting to them, Mrs. Burble (guest star Gina Torres), the school’s guidance counselor, meets with Betty (Lili Reinhart), Archie (KJ Apa), Veronica (Camila Mendes), Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) and Jughead (Cole Sprouse) to discuss what’s plaguing them. Madchen Amick, Mark Consuelos, Casey Cott, Skeet Ulrich and Vanessa Morgan also star. Michael Goi directed the episode written by Tessa Leigh Williams (#408.) Original airdate 12/4/2019.

This should be an important episode that serves as somewhat of a bridge. We don’t think that we’re going to get all of these answers regarding the videotapes right now; instead, that may be something that happens a little later on in the future.
