NCIS: Los Angeles 250th episode co-written by Eric Christian Olsen!

Today, we come bearing some great news — information on NCIS: Los Angeles and its big 250th episode! There’s a lot to like there, and it starts with a writing credit. After all, series star Eric Christian Olsen co-wrote this episode alongside Babar Peerzada.

We’ve heard for a while that Olsen was involved in some way behind-the-scenes with an episode themed around Hetty Lange, and it’s certainly nice to know a little bit more as to what sort of story it is. “Mother” is going to move a little bit into the character’s past and focus more on someone she trained many years ago — let’s just say that it’s someone who isn’t her biggest fan any more. We have a feeling that this is going to be an intense episode that features a great Linda Hunt performance, and it’s really about time given that we haven’t seen that much of her this season.

Series regular Eric Christian Olsen co-wrote the episode with Babar Peerzada.

The further and further that we progress into this episode, the more fascinating this story is probably going to become. One of the most fascinating things about Hetty is that she is a keeper of so many secrets and while that can be an asset at times, we also do think that it can be a setback. We imagine that there are a lot more of those that could be coming on this episode, so be prepared for that.

Also, wouldn’t it be nice to get another writing credit for Olsen? Hopefully, this episode’s a winner and it leads to some other great stuff down the road.
