Is 9-1-1 new tonight on Fox? Season 3 episode 9 promo, hopes

911 season 2

Is 9-1-1 new tonight on Fox? Within this article, we come bearing some more great news on that … but then also our expectations for some other stories, as well.

The unfortunate news that we must report at the moment is simply this: If you love this show, you’re going to have to wait for a good while to see what’s coming up next. Think in terms of another week. The series will be coming back on November 25 with an installment called “Fallout,” and that’s going to be the last before we get to the epic midseason finale that is coming in early December.

So what does that title reference? Well, for starters, we think that there’s a reference here to a nuclear fallout … or at least the video game of the same name. After all, in this upcoming episode you’re going to see a crisis that could lead to some various Chernobyl fears. Nobody wants to see a recreation of that (we’ve already read the headlines … and seen at least some of the HBO series), so the first responders are going to have to act quickly in order for things to turn around.

While the promo is mostly focusing on the nuclear crisis that is coming up in this episode, there are some other things to anticipate, as well. Just remember what happened at the end of this past episode with Hen … and also think a little bit more now about where her story could go next. This accident that she was at the center of could end up scarring her for life, or causing some more problems for her career. It’s still so early after the accident that, one way or another, the true fallout (see that title again?) is something that remains to be seen. We gotta have patience, but the next week or so is going to be painful for that very reason. Waiting is hard, especially for a high-quality show.
