Roswell, New Mexico season 2 spoilers: Sense8 alum Jamie Clayton joins
According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, former Sense8 and Designated Survivor actress Jamie Clayton has been cast to play the role coming up of Agent Grace Powell. What do we know about her at the moment? Well, here’s the current logline for this character:
“When someone she loves goes missing, she discovers that the town is home to more buried secrets than she bargained for.”
So … it’s pretty clear that she is going to be for some surprises. We also think that this is the sort of casting that should get a lot more people intrigued by the new season. Sense8 has one of the most supportive fandoms out there, really to the point that if it came back today, there would be viewers watching it in droves. Meanwhile, Roswell, New Mexico proved to be a very solid entry in The CW’s programming lineup in its first year.
The new season of Roswell, New Mexico will premiere on The CW in the new year, and hopefully, it’ll keep its trajectory moving in a positive direction after everything it did the first go-around. For now, we definitely do think that things are positive and we’d like to see them remain that way. This show may have a lot of alien life at its core, but in the end, we think it’s about humanity more so than anything else. (Remember that when it does premiere, the best way to ensure that it sticks around is that you continue to watch it live.)
