God Friended Me, NCIS: Los Angeles delayed; see new start time

CBS

In what shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone at the moment, NCIS: Los Angeles and God Friended Me are pushed back by football. Why do this, week after week? Well, we know most of the reasons for it — NFL football makes money. It’s a reality of the situation that we’ve come to understand. It just makes these particular situations less than ideal.

Of course, this is where we go ahead and remind you already that these two CBS shows, plus Madam Secretary, were starting late in the first place. New episodes are going to start at 8:48 p.m. Eastern time for God Friended Me, and then NCIS: Los Angeles and Madam Secretary one and two hours later, respectively. That means for fans of the Tea Leoni series, you’ll be waiting until 10:48 p.m. Eastern (!) in order to watch it. Be sure to set your DVR to allow for some extra time.

All three episodes tonight should be exciting. Why? We’re in the November sweeps! This is a time in which networks love to bust out their best stuff. God Friended Me tonight is bringing you, for example, the story of Gideon, someone who actually experienced the God Account long before Miles Finer ever did. Following that, NCIS: Los Angeles is going to bring you a high-octane action and Madam Secretary gives you a story that could set up Elizabeth McCord for some of the most difficult stuff of her entire Presidency.

Overall, we imagine that all of these shows are worth waiting for … and we like to think that they will make you smile if you check them out.
