God Friended Me season 2 episode 9 spoilers: Is Cara’s stepfather in trouble?
So what can you expect? Well, for starters, we would say that Cara is going to have some strong feelings towards Miles pursuing what’s going on with her stepdad. She’s not going to be interested in him doing it, and she may do everything within her power in order to convince him to do something else. (Yet, on some level, Cara probably realizes that Miles has to look into this somewhat — it is the nature of the God Account, and both of these characters have seen at this point the end result of following its instructions.)

“Prophet & Loss” – When Miles gets the name of Cara’s stepfather, Paul (Tom Everett Scott), they learn that he is potentially involved with an insider trading scheme. But when Cara asks Miles to ignore his urge to intervene, he is forced to choose between her wishes or the God Account, on GOD FRIENDED ME, Sunday, Nov. 24 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Tom Everett Scott guest stars as Paul, Cara’s stepfather.
Do we really think that Paul is involved in something so shady? Not necessarily, and given the positive nature of this series, we wouldn’t be altogether shocked if there is some sort of twist here. Take, for example, him being set up by someone else. We do think that there’s a good chance of a few different twists in this episode that no one sees coming — given that we are getting close to the end of this calendar year, the stories are only going to get more and more important.
Let’s just hope that the relationship with Miles and Cara stays stable within this episode, really no matter what happens.
