Outlander season 5 wrap party held; cast celebrates!
If you look across social media, there are a number of different photos from around the occasion. One of them can be found via Sophie Skelton HERE. Wrap parties tend to be fairly off social media, with one of the biggest reasons for that being that it’s a rare chance for everyone to celebrate and have a community experience like no other. These people have worked together for months on end, often in tough conditions and for very long hours. They deserve a chance in order to celebrate!
For those who are wondering, though, a warp party being held doesn’t always mean that filming is often done. As a matter of fact, wrap parties are often done before the end of filming because actors often wrap at different times. This allows casts an opportunity to celebrate together before some of them go off to other jobs or responsibilities. We know that some actors, including Lauren Lyle and Cesar Domboy, are already done. Others will finish off in the days to come.
As Outlander wraps up filming, remember that we imagine the cast and crew will be back in Scotland before too long. There is no specific start of filming date for season 6, but at the moment we’re hoping that there will be a chance in order to see the show back in action at some point in the spring. Season 5 premieres on Starz February 16; we’d love to see season 6 air at around the same time in 2021.
For now, let’s congratulate the Outlander cast for their wrap party! They’ve earned all of the opportunities that they’re getting to relax.
