God Friended Me season 2 episode 8 sneak peek: Miles meets Gideon

Sunday night’s God Friended Me season 2 episode 8 could prove to be one of the most important ones of the entire series. In this installment, you’re going to have a chance to see one-time Grey’s Anatomy cast member T.R. Knight stop by in the role of Gideon. He’s someone who Miles finds himself directed to, and it just so turns out that he knows a good bit about the God Account.

Why is this? Well, it just so happens that Gideon has some experience dealing with the God Account himself. Many years ago, he found himself friended by God and he may have taken on a number of different tasks.

It’s possible that through this episode, you could get a lot of different answers about the God Account … but we don’t think that we’ll be getting ALL of them. The thing that we’re probably the most curious about is whether or not there is going to be a chance to learn if Gideon is still doing favors for God and if he’s not, why he stopped.

In the end, one thing is clear: God probably wanted to see Miles and Gideon meet at some point. He was led in this direction, and maybe at the end of this he’ll understand more about his true calling and purpose when it comes to this collaboration with the Account. Cara’s going to be by Miles’ side seemingly through most of this, so maybe he’s going to have a chance to get some outside advice on Gideon, provided of course that he comes across as a little bit hard to read. Why if Gideon is lying about his past involvement — or, what if Gideon is the person responsible for the account himself? Knight is a big casting for this show, and we have to imagine that the writers are going to offer some good material.
