Dancing with the Stars: Lindsay Arnold to miss November 11 episode

Lindsay Arnold

If you are wondering whether or not there is going to be a return by Lindsay Arnold on Monday night’s Dancing with the Stars, we now come bearing an answer.

According to a new report from People Magazine, Lindsay will miss this week’s episode (her second) following the death of her mother-in-law earlier this month. Jenna Johnson stepped in to deliver a performance alongside her celebrity partner Sean Spicer, and she will continue to do so again on tonight’s episode. Johnson was previously partnered with Queer Eye star Karamo, who was eliminated earlier this season by both the public and the judges.

Arnold has become a staple of Dancing with the Stars over the past several years, and in a lot of ways, the pros are the draws for viewers just as much as some of the celebrities. They form their own fanbases and viewers follow them along their journey. This is perhaps even more so the case for someone like Arnold, who first got her start on TV while on So You Think You Can Dance. We know how much a show like this means to a pro, as well — it’s a big part of their livelihood, as it is a chance to both showcase their talent and then also their artistry and creativity as a choreographer. It’s a showcase for their work now, and then also a showcase for whatever they want to do in the future.

In the end, we’ll see whether or not Spicer advances to next week’s show before learning whether or not she will return for it. Spicer has managed to survive many eliminations despite revealing some of the competition’s lowest total scores.
