Below, CarterMatt has the full Madam Secretary season 6 episode 7 synopsis with some more information as to what’s coming up next:
“Accountability” – When U.S. intelligence locates the mastermind behind a foreign country’s hack, Elizabeth must decide whether to risk war by extracting him from the country while she also prepares for the White House correspondents’ dinner. Also, Jason faces backlash after he confronts his school newspaper over its coverage of Elizabeth, on MADAM SECRETARY, Sunday, Nov. 17 (10:30-11:30 PM, ET/10:00-11:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.
The storyline for Jason is one that we could totally envision happening, as this is the sort of thing that the son of a politician would probably be forced to deal with — especially at this age. There would be a lot of people who would give them a hard time just because of who they are, let alone the political beliefs of the president.
Also, we kinda hope that there is some sort of representation of the White House correspondents’ dinner. It has to be one of the weirder traditions for a President to take part in, since it’s basically a room full of reporters who are at times having fun at your expense. It’s also showcasing further the relationship between politicians and the press, which can certainly be tasty. We know this now more so than ever.
