Greenleaf season 4 episode 11 return date hopes on OWN
Let’s start this piece off, though, with a reminder that there is more coming up with season 4! We haven’t reached the end of the road just yet and instead, we’re just leaving on an extremely-tantalizing cliffhanger, one that features at the middle of it a mystery man. We are, of course, referring to the figure who turns up in the closing minutes of the midseason finale. He seems to be making a lot of statements on “expiration dates” … otherwise known as the sort of stuff you don’t expect to be hearing someone you don’t really know.
The bad news at the moment is that you are going to be waiting for a long time to see more Greenleaf — think in terms of 2020. The next two months are going to drag, though at least there’s the satisfaction of knowing that there are multiple episodes still coming after the fact. We like to think that the split season is some sort of hopeful sign that OWN would also like a season 5 — in between that and the enormous social-media following for the series, it feels like there is a chance.
If there is a sliver of good news buried underneath the bad news, it’s this: There is a good chance that Greenleaf will come back as early as January. That is at least some of what we’d like to see, so we’re going to be crossing our fingers and hoping for the best with that. There is no specific date at present, though, and that may be something that is revealed in further fashion when we get around to next month. OWN may not be in too big of a hurry to announce something yet, mostly because they know they’ve got some time in order to make some sort of announcement happen. With that, there’s also a chance that a new trailer could be coming up, as well.
