Fuller House season 5 filming update: The end is almost here
So what happened today? Per the Instagram post below via star Andrea Barber, the entire cast and crew convened for filming of the penultimate episode. Barber took her traditional photo with some of the audience waiting to get it and from there, the show was on. We imagine that there is some comedy within the final episodes of the Netflix series (which we should get some more premiere-date news on soon), but there will also be a number of sentimental moments. Just think about it — this is an institution that started all the way back with Full House. We imagine that even once this is over, there will be cries for more again. We’re just not sure that this is something that is ever going to happen, even if there is an interest in it.
Beyond just the cast filming today, we also heard from earlier this week that the first table read has transpired for the series finale. That was first confirmed in a post on Twitter by executive producer Bryan Behar, and it’s one that he claims was absolutely full of tears. How could it not be?
As for what we’re expecting within the final episode of Fuller House, it would be nice to see a story with a lot of lighthearted romance, past references, and even a few surprise cameos. Obviously, the Olsen Twins would be at the top of our personal wishlist, but for the time eing, we don’t see that altogether likely. The writers just have to make the most of the resources that they have in front of them.
