Want to know the Good Trouble season 2 return date, coupled with the grown-ish season 3 premiere date and more? Well, rest assured that we come bearing some news on that within, and there is a big surprise included in here.
What is it? Well, let’s get to that now — Good Trouble is moving to a much later timeslot than we’re really used to seeing for any Freeform show. The Maia Mitchell – Cierra Ramirez drama is going to be back on Wednesday, January 15 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time. Why in the world would the show air so late? Well, a lot of that is going to have to do with the oh-so-simple fact that the series is touching on a number of serious issues. It can cater to a more adult audience, and in all honesty, a number of teenagers and young adults are going to be awake at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time during the winter — or any other time, for that matter.
Remember that before you get to the second half of Good Trouble season 2, there is a Christmas Special that is airing next month. For more news about that, including a reunion featuring a number of stars from The Fosters, be sure to visit the link here.
As for some other Freeform-related news….
grown-ish – Season 3 of the black-ish spin-off series is going to be kicking off one day after Good Trouble returns on January 16 starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
The Bold Type – Meanwhile, season 4 is going to premiere here on January 23 starting at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time.
With a myriad of cancellations that have been going on at the moment within the Freeform world, all three of these shows now find themselves in a rather-unique position. They’re some of the network’s longest-running shows, and in a lot of ways, they each also have a fairly solid through-lines. We are speaking here about series that are topical and do their best to combine character stories with issues impacting people within the real world. Of course, with grown-ish being a comedy, it has a chance to combine a lot of different stuff all at once.
