Want to get some more news as to what that is? Below, CarterMatt has the official Chicago Fire season 8 episode 8 synopsis with some more news all about what’s coming:
11/13/2019 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Wednesday) : Severide begins his assignment at the Office of Fire Investigation and gets off on the wrong foot when, despite his orders, he reopens an old case. When the cause of an apartment fire hits close to home, Herrmann is on a mission to get to the bottom of it. Kidd finds herself burning the candle at both ends. TV-14 V
Beyond what’s happening with Kelly, there are a couple of stories within this episode that clearly are going to matter. Take, for example, what’s going on with Stella! We can already tell you that her story burning the candle at both ends is going to carry over into what’s happening in the midseason finale.
Also, Herrmann storylines are always good storylines. David Eigenberg is a fantastic actor who also does a good job delivering when he gets to take on huge, impactful stories. It may not carry over from one week to the next, but we think it’s worth looking forward to at least in this moment.
The saddest thing to remember here is the simple fact that Chicago Fire will be off all December — let’s just hope that these next couple of episodes do enough in order to ensure that we make it through this hiatus!
