New Amsterdam season 2 episode 8 spoilers: Max’s worst fear

We don’t think that Max was necessarily getting better or moving past what happened to Georgia over the past few weeks. Yet, we do think on some level that he was starting to understand that there was a lot more life to live and a number of other issues that

11/12/2019 (10:01PM – 11:00PM) (Tuesday) : Sharpe lands in hot water when she goes out on a limb for a patient. Meanwhile, Max’s grief comes to a head, and Bloom takes a major step in her recovery. TV-14

We don’t think that this episode is going to be one that is easy for Max, but we would classify it full as a necessary evil. There are going to be cases that he takes on that are going to be difficult, and there was going to be a point where he would have to reenact something that was a source of tremendous pain. We’ll see where things ultimately go from here, but there will likely be some other painful and difficult things that everyone is forced to deal with. All of this will build up to the fall finale, when there will potentially be even more surprises — and also hopefully a tease for what the next part of the story is going to look like.
