Outlander: Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, Richard Rankin, & Sophie Skelton BAFTA fun

Outlander season 4

If you missed it, over the weekend Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, Richard Rankin, and Sophie Skelton all made an appearance at the BAFTA Scotland Awards. There was glamor, prestige, a celebration of Scottish film and television, but also a good time. There was Outlander discussion sure, but also a chance to see everyone have a good time every step of the way.

In the end, this does bring us to some new videos HERE, courtesy of EE. Yesterday while on the red carpet, the cast all played a game of Favorites. Sam, Caitriona, and Sophie all played the game together, while Richard had a separate video of his own. Within this, we learn about Richard’s go-to dance moves, Scottish food, and also Sophie and Caitriona’s love of Succession. All of a sudden, we now find ourselves extremely eager to learn who they think will end up taking the place of Logan Roy … if anything ever happens there.

If we did have to proclaim one part of these videos that stands out the most, it is Richard noting that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is his favorite video game of all time — it may not be our #1 (can’t betray Final Fantasy VII like that), but it’s definitely in our personal top five. It just strikes you right in the feels TIME AND TIME AGAIN.

We don’t think that either one of these videos is going to deliver any sort of game-changing Outlander news, but we’re still more than three months away from the show returning to Starz! We think that all four of these cast members will have some opportunities coming up in order to shine, and also promote the series in greater detail. This was more of a chance for them to get out, enjoy themselves, and celebrate Scotland as they get through the waning weeks of production on the brand-new season.

What do you think about this new Outlander video?

Be sure to share now in the comments, and remember to stick around for even more information.
