Is Legacies new tonight on The CW? More season 2 scoop!

Legacies

Is Legacies new tonight over on The CW? Within this article, we’re going to do our part to both answer that question, plus also look ahead somewhat to the future of the series.

Unfortunately, we do have some rather-bad news at the moment to share: There is no new episode on the series this week. Why not? It’s Halloween! Well, we think that a lot of it is a consequence of the oh-so-simple fact that a number of The CW’s viewers are younger, so there is probably a fear that there won’t be as many people around to watch. That’s a shame, but luckily, you won’t have to wait too long to see some other great stuff that is coming.

As a matter of fact, why not go ahead and dive into some of the official details below for the upcoming two episodes? Consider this an appetizer…

November 7, “Since When Do You Speak Japanese?” – “THE LOST SAMURAI — When a samurai shows up in Mystic Falls looking for a demon that possesses its victims, Josie (Kaylee Bryant) leads the charge to defend her friends from the demon’s wrath. Meanwhile, as Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) and Rafael (Peyton Alex Smith) head to Mystic Falls High in hopes of learning more about the mysterious Hope (Danielle Rose Russell), MG (Quincy Fouse) is conflicted by a secret he’s uncovered about Lizzie’s (Jenny Boyd) new vampire friend Sebastian (guest star Thomas Doherty). Finally, just as Alaric (Matthew Davis) lets his guard down around the town’s new sheriff, a confrontation with a demon forces him to reevaluate his priorities. Geoff Shotz directed the episode written by Penny Cox (#204). Original airdate 11/7/2019.”

The promo for this episode below suggests that we’re going to see this samurai prove to be rather exceptional when it comes to taking over the identity of others. Basically, this is going to be a lot of fun.

November 14, “Screw Endgame” – “’80s DECADE DANCE – As the Salvatore School prepares for its upcoming ’80s-themed decade dance, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) and Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) find themselves trapped inside a never-ending labyrinth with a monster on their trail. Meanwhile, Josie (Kaylee Bryant) and Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) decide whether or not to take their relationship to the next level. Elsewhere, MG (Quincy Fouse) turns to Kaleb (guest star Chris Lee) for advice on what to do about Sebastian (guest star Thomas Doherty), while Rafael (Peyton Alex Smith) struggles to adjust to his life back at the school. Matthew Davis also stars. Barbara Brown directed the episode written by Brett Matthews & Thomas Brandon (#205). Original airdate 11/14/2019.”

The latter is an installment that is going to mean a lot to a number of big-time fans of The Vampire Diaries out there, given that it does represent the series moving back closer to some of its original DNA. We don’t know if we’ll get decade dances for the remainder of Legacies’ run, but they are a good chance to get everyone thinking about romance and whatever they want their future to be … even if that is often encapsulated within a single night.
