God Friended Me season 2 episode 6 spoilers: About ‘The Fighter’?

God Friended Me

Next week on God Friended Me season 2 episode 6, you’re going to have a chance to witness a story called “The Fighter.” It, of course, makes sense that there would be some sort of physical fighter involved in the storyline … but we have a feeling that there is something greater going on here, as well. A fighter may be someone who is doing their part in order to help others — they’re fighting for them, so to speak.

There’s always something more to a story like God Friended Me beyond what you’re getting at face value. That is a big thing to remember as we do approach this episode, which is also going to have some important emotional stories tied into it, as well.

Below, CarterMatt has the full God Friended Me season 2 episode 6 synopsis with some more news as to what’s coming:

“The Fighter” – The God Account sends Miles the name of Elena (Cynthia Sosa), a social worker who began training in mixed martial arts to help heal the emotional wounds of a traumatic experience. Also, Arthur is torn between a professional opportunity and promises he made to his fiancé, Trish, and Rakesh attempts to track down the artist behind the mysterious painting that Miles and Cara found in Paris, on GOD FRIENDED ME, Sunday, Nov. 3 (8:30-9:30 PM, ET/8:00-9:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.

It’s nice to know that the writers aren’t forgetting about Paris no matter where they go with this story, and it feels like the painting is something that we’ll have some resolution to by the end of the calendar year — leading, of course, to a new mystery. We don’t think that the show is anywhere close to resolving the God Account, but nor do we think that it needs to be close to it. There’s nothing wrong with the writers taking their time as they work to connect us from point A to point B.

As for the Arthur storyline, the main question we’re left to wonder about is this: How does he think that this story is going to end? The only solution we can come up with is that she’ll be upset but soon see his side, but even that is not altogether guaranteed.
