Supergirl (Kara & Lena) vs. Outlander (Roger & Bree) – ‘Shiptober poll

Welcome to ‘Shiptober 2019! Throughout the month of October, CarterMatt will be bringing you our annual tournament featuring some of best ‘ships in all of TV. What is a ‘ship? It is comprised of characters you want to see together romantically. Maybe they’re already together, or maybe they’ve never been together. It doesn’t matter. ‘Shipping is one of the most popular parts of any TV fandom, it’s super fun and this tournament is a celebration of that.

In today’s edition of ‘Shiptober, we’re getting set to close out the final four! This time around, we’re doing that by spotlighting a battle between Kara & Lena of Supergirl and then also Roger & Bree of Outlander. That’s right — there are two different ‘ships from Outlander within the final four! The competition in this poll, we imagine, is going to be all sorts of intense. We’re curious to see the end result of it already…

Kara & Lena, Supergirl (#1 seed) – The reigning champions have endured some battles to make it to this point but, when the dust settled, we’ve got yet another reminder of their dominance this year. Supercorp remains one of the most active and mobilized ‘ships on the web, and they’re inching closer now to yet another finals appearance. They have one more hurdle to leap over, but they’re facing a strong challenger who seems very much motivated…

Roger & Bree, Outlander (#6 seed) – Coming off of what was by far their most important season yet, these two characters have proven to be more powerful in ‘Shiptober than ever before! They’ve effectively faced off three of the most popular NCIS franchise ‘ships out there in Deeks & Kensi, Gibbs & Sloane, and Tony & Ziva — it’s been an impressive run. Yet, we don’t imagine that Roger & Bree fans are done yet, and they’re envisioning a showdown opposite Jamie & Claire.
