A Million Little Things season 2 episode 6: Are Gary, Maggie in trouble?
So what’s going on here? This season has forced the two of them to dive in and explore some different corners of their relationship, and there are certain positives that can come with that … but also certain pains. You’re getting to know each other separate from what the two went through last season, and focusing on different parts of life can expose problems that you did not previously know were there. This will prove to be a rather big theme to a lot of the different stories that are going to be told here.

Gary’s growing tension with Maggie comes to a head as she accidentally lets Colin out while she’s on the phone with Eric. Meanwhile, Delilah does a podcast about suicide, which helps her open up to Andrew.
We have a sense that this is one of those episodes that will be about shifting relationships, whether it be relationships with other people or relationships with oneself. Both are important to explore to some degree, and you can only hope that people are prepared to dive into some of those emotional depths.
One last thing worth noting here is that it’s a pretty bold move for ABC to be airing a new episode of A Million Little things on Halloween, especially when you consider that this may not even be themed around the holiday — and that there will be families out trick-or-treating. We’re sure that on some level, they are prepared for some softer ratings … though to be fair, we imagine most people on the east coast will be indoors long before this airs.
