NCIS season 17 episode 6 return date for Mark Harmon, cast
The bad news is simply this: We’re gearing up for the first hiatus of the season, as there will be no new episode airing until Tuesday, November 5. Instead, October 29 will give you a repeat of “She,” the Ziva David episode that effectively started the entire arc leading to Cote de Pablo’s return into Ziva Town. It’s a worthy episode to revisit without a doubt, but it’s also one that a lot of you may have gone back and re-watched already.
Yet, hiatuses are necessary for any successful season as they help make it so that production stays ahead of the curve. It also makes sense for NCIS to take one at a time in which people are getting ready for Halloween. CBS has been around the block for a while — because of that, they know a thing or two about the right time in order to go on hiatus and also the right time to air new installments.

When NCIS season 17 episode 6 does air on Tuesday, November 5, it will be with an episode entitled “Institutionalized,” one that should prove to be rather important for Diona Reasonover and her character of Kasie Hines. You’ll learn more about her past through a longtime friend in Dante who finds himself accused of a crime that he may have committed. We would expect to see her work to clear his name … if he is in fact not guilty.

“Institutionalized” – After a petty officer’s son is found murdered at his “welcome home from prison” party, evidence suggests Kasie’s lifelong best friend, Dante Brown (Devale Ellis), is the suspect, on NCIS, Tuesday, Nov. 5 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
