‘The X Factor’ USA: Demi Lovato performs National Anthem at World Series

Demi Lovato has found a greater audience than ever courtesy of her judging gig on “The X Factor” in America, and she has also taken on another rather gig in the process: a performance of the National Anthem at the World Series on Sunday night.

This actually was the second performance in two years at baseball’s biggest game, but this one was the first since Demi has been directly affiliated with Fox courtesy of the singing competition. This obviously gives the network an extra incentive to get as many gigs for her as possible, and we have a feeling that Demi rather appreciated this one. Why? If there is anyone who knows how to completely nail a performance of this track, it’s Demi; not only did she hit all of the notes, but the emotion was also there within the performance as a whole. The Anthem is of course a tough song to take on, especially when you have the added pressure of an audience waiting for you to mess up.

This is going to be a rather quick turnaround for Demi, who is going to be back out to Los Angeles soon in order to support the members of her team for their first live show happening on Thursday night. This is definitely going to be a big show for Demi, as it will be her first real opportunity to show just what she has to offer her team and to Fox as a live entertainer. Being a judge is not always an easy thing to do, especially when the energy of the crowd almost encourages you to just be nice to everyone when you really shouldn’t be all of the time.

What do you think about Demi’s anthem performance?
