Watchmen episode 2 spoilers: What’s next for Regina King, cast?
We know that this is, without question, one of the most ambitious shows in the history of HBO — and that is saying something. You are adapting one of the biggest graphic novels in recent history and hoping that it ends up being accepted by viewers. That’s not the easiest thing in the world to pull off, but the preliminary reviews for new episodes are solid. That’s no guarantee that they will remain that way forever, but it’s a good start.
HBO to date has been cryptic when it comes to revealing more information when it comes to Watchmen, but go ahead and know this — the series will continue to have elements of the source material. Yet, it’s not going to be a carbon copy by any means. You probably already got a good sense of that following the premiere, but this trend is going to continue. If the show captures the tone and soul of the original, it will be successful.
Following tonight’s new episode, HBO released an extended preview for some of what it’s coming up next — be prepared to see an unraveling. That’s one of the best ways that we can possibly put it. Nothing that you see in this premiere is going to be the pinnacle for whatever some of the drama is following it up. It’s only going to get worse, and more interesting, from here.
